you know, there's a reason we pay these guys big bucks! As I told
Erin, who accompanied me throughout the entire ordeal, taking them out
was a bit anticlimactic. Anyway, looks good. (For those who have
inquired, thanks; under the circumstances, couldn't be better!) Now a
mere 8 more weeks of wearing the splint, gradually beginning to
gently advance motion without forcing, to slowly increasing activity,
to eventually pushing the knuckle to full motion, till my thumb's back
to normal functioning. (Oh drat! Says here, do NOT immerse. Did that
this very first night, in the tub! Acted purposefully, and with
impunity!!) Who would've imagined a little injury could be so
injurious. Man, it's going to be a long haul!
